Abstrak

Media sosial telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari remaja, baik untuk berkomunikasi, mencari hiburan, maupun memperoleh informasi. Tingginya intensitas penggunaan media sosial dapat meningkatkan kemungkinan munculnya kelelahan media sosial (social media fatigue). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara mindfulness dengan kelelahan media sosial pada pengguna remaja akhir media sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel time sampling dengan teknik analisis data Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian yang melibatkan 180 responden pengguna media sosial pada rentang usia remaja akhir (18-21 tahun) menunjukkan bahwa sig. < 0,05 dengan nilai koefisien regresi (B) sebesar -0,042. Artinya, terdapat korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara mindfulness dengan social media fatigue. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi orang remaja akhir dalam menggunakan media sosial secara lebih sehat, sekaligus menjadi masukan bagi pengembang platform media sosial untuk lebih memperhatikan kesejahteraan psikologis para penggunanya.
