Komparasi Tingkat Stres Akademik antara Mahasiswa Baru dan Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir di Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Lambung Mangkurat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat stres akademik antara mahasiswa baru dan mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan sampel sebanyak 160 mahasiswa, terdiri dari 80 mahasiswa baru dan 80 mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala stres akademik berdasarkan teori Gadzella (1991). Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji independent samples t-test. Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan dengan nilai t = -2,93 dan p = 0,004, di mana mahasiswa baru memiliki tingkat stres akademik (Mean = 95,03) lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa tingkat akhir (Mean = 89,84). Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya program pendampingan khusus bagi mahasiswa baru untuk mengurangi stres akademik dan mendukung keberhasilan studi.
