Manajemen Mutu Pengendalian Infeksi Pasca Operasi Dalam Meningkatkan Keselamatan Pasien di RS DKH Kedungwaringin Kabupaten Bekasi

Infeksi pascaoperasi merupakan salah satu indikator penting keselamatan pasien dan mutu pelayanan rumah sakit yang dipengaruhi oleh efektivitas penerapan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi (PPI) perioperatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi manajemen mutu PPI perioperatif, mengidentifikasi kendala, serta merumuskan strategi perbaikan di RS DKH Kedungwaringin Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melibatkan 23 partisipan yang terdiri atas pasien, manajemen rumah sakit, dan tenaga kesehatan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik dengan perspektif Total Quality Management (TQM), Clinical Governance, Safety Culture, dan siklus Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PPI telah berjalan melalui kebersihan tangan, kewaspadaan standar, pemberian antibiotik profilaksis, penempatan pasien, dan WHO Surgical Safety Checklist, tetapi belum konsisten. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, sarana-prasarana, pengawasan, serta sistem dokumentasi manual. Strategi perbaikan diarahkan pada penguatan monitoring, edukasi berbasis perubahan perilaku, penyediaan antiseptik, digitalisasi dokumentasi, audit komprehensif, dan pemenuhan sarana secara bertahap. Penguatan siklus PDCA secara berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan PPI, mengendalikan risiko infeksi pascaoperasi, dan memperkuat keselamatan pasien.
