Efikasi Diri Mahasiswa Tahun Pertama Dalam Menjalani Situasi Krisis: Sebuah Eksplorasi Di Masa Pandemi

COVID-19 adalah pandemi global yang telah menyebabkan gangguan di banyak bidang kehidupan termausk pendidikan. Mahasiswa universitas yang telah belajar selama wabah COVID-19 berpotensi rentan terhadap dampak negatif pada keyakinan akademik penting, seperti efikasi diri. Efikasi diri mahasiswa adalah variabel penting dalam mendukung studi selama menjalani pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran efikasi diri mahasiswa tahun pertama di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif eksploratif. Efikasi diri diukur dengan menggunakan kuisioner adaptasi General Self Efficacy Scale. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 437 mahasiswa tahun pertama, terdiri dari 111 laki-laki dan 236 perempuan yang didapatkan dengan teknik convenience sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa efikasi diri mahasiswa dalam menghadapi situasi krisis pandemi berada pada tingkat yang cukup adaptif, dengan mayoritas responden menempati kategori Sedang dan Tinggi. Variabel demografis yang umum tidak memengaruhi efikasi diri mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan akademik atau situasi pandemi.
