Abstrak

Praktik mindfulness dalam pendidikan anak usia dini telah menunjukkan efek yang menjanjikan dalam regulasi emosi pada anak-anak, termasuk mereka yang berada di PAUD (pusat pendidikan anak usia dini). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berbasis mindfulness (MBIs) dapat meningkatkan kesadaran emosional anak-anak, mengurangi ekspresi emosi negatif, dan meningkatkan keterampilan regulasi diri, yang sangat penting untuk perkembangan sosial dan kognitif 2410. Meskipun sebagian besar studi berfokus pada anak-anak berusia 6 hingga 12 tahun, bukti yang muncul menunjukkan bahwa bahkan anak-anak yang lebih muda dapat memperoleh manfaat dari aktivitas mindfulness yang sesuai usia yang diintegrasikan ke dalam rutinitas harian, membantu mereka mengelola emosi seperti marah, takut, dan sedih dengan lebih baik 19. Keterlibatan pendidik dan pengasuh dalam menyelenggarakan program mindfulness sangat penting, karena dukungan mereka membantu mempertahankan praktik ini dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung secara emosional 36. Tantangan tetap ada, termasuk menyesuaikan konten mindfulness dengan tingkat perkembangan anak-anak usia dini dan memastikan praktik yang konsisten, tetapi secara keseluruhan, mindfulness menunjukkan potensi sebagai alat efektif untuk mempromosikan regulasi emosi di lingkungan pendidikan usia dini 810. Penelitian masa depan harus terus mengeksplorasi intervensi yang disesuaikan untuk anak-anak usia PAUD dan menganalisis dampak jangka panjang pada hasil emosional dan perilaku.
