Abstrak

Studi ini menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran berbasis pusat dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif pada anak-anak usia dini. Metode pembelajaran berbasis pusat melibatkan pengorganisasian berbagai stasiun aktivitas yang merangsang pemikiran, pemecahan masalah, dan kreativitas anak melalui pengalaman praktis. Penelitian yang menggunakan metode aksi kelas menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas seperti bermain blok, peran-peran, dan pusat seni secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak, termasuk pemikiran logis dan pemahaman konsep dasar. Integrasi pendekatan seperti STEAMLY Plus lebih lanjut mendukung perkembangan kognitif dengan menggabungkan sains, teknologi, rekayasa, seni, dan matematika dalam cara yang menarik, mendorong kreativitas dan pemikiran kritis. Selain itu, metode seperti Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT) mendorong partisipasi aktif dan komunikasi, yang berkontribusi pada keterampilan kognitif dan bahasa yang lebih baik. Secara keseluruhan, metode pembelajaran berbasis pusat menyediakan kerangka kerja dinamis dan efektif untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini dengan mempromosikan eksplorasi, interaksi, dan pemecahan masalah dalam lingkungan yang terstruktur namun fleksibel.
