Optimalisasi Deteksi Dini Hipertensi melalui Pemeriksaan Tekanan Darah Berbasis Komunitas pada Populasi Dewasa

Hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko utama penyakit kardiovaskular yang sering tidak terdeteksi karena umumnya tidak menimbulkan gejala pada tahap awal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tekanan darah masyarakat melalui skrining dan edukasi kesehatan sebagai upaya deteksi dini hipertensi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pemeriksaan tekanan darah menggunakan tensimeter digital serta penyuluhan mengenai faktor risiko, pencegahan, dan pentingnya pemantauan tekanan darah secara berkala. Hasil pengukuran diklasifikasikan berdasarkan pedoman Joint National Committee (JNC) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil skrining menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak peserta memiliki tekanan darah di atas kategori normal, mulai dari tekanan darah meningkat hingga hipertensi, pada berbagai kelompok usia dan jenis kelamin. Temuan ini menunjukkan masih tingginya potensi risiko penyakit kardiovaskular di masyarakat. Edukasi kesehatan memperoleh respons positif dan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai hipertensi. Skrining yang dipadukan dengan edukasi kesehatan efektif mendukung upaya promotif dan preventif pengendalian penyakit tidak menular.
