Pemeriksaan Kadar SGOT dan SGPT sebagai Upaya Deteksi Dini Gangguan Fungsi Hati pada Komunitas Dewasa Sekolah Mutiara Bangsa

Abstrak

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan menggambarkan kadar serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) dan serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) sebagai upaya deteksi dini gangguan fungsi hati pada masyarakat dewasa produktif. Sebanyak 45 peserta mengikuti pemeriksaan SGOT dan SGPT menggunakan metode skrining sederhana. Rerata usia peserta sebesar 34,69 dengan standar deviasi 9,05 tahun dan mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan (80,0%). Pemeriksaan SGOT menunjukkan rerata sebesar 24,47 dengan standar deviasi 5,20 U/L dan median 24,00 U/L (14,00–35,00 U/L), sedangkan SGPT menunjukkan rerata sebesar 22,20 dengan standar deviasi 4,98 U/L dan median 22,00 U/L (15,00–38,00 U/L). Rerata kadar SGOT dan SGPT pada laki-laki cenderung lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan, meskipun seluruh nilai masih berada dalam rentang normal. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa fungsi hati peserta secara umum masih baik. Oleh karena itu, skrining fungsi hati, edukasi pola hidup sehat, aktivitas fisik rutin, dan pengendalian berat badan penting dilakukan untuk mencegah gangguan metabolik dan penyakit hati pada masyarakat dewasa produktif.
