Optimalisasi Skrining Obesitas Sentral melalui Pengukuran Lingkar Pinggang dan Rasio Pinggang-Pinggul untuk Pencegahan Risiko Metabolik pada Populasi Dewasa

Obesitas sentral merupakan determinan utama risiko kardiometabolik yang sering tidak terdeteksi pada populasi dewasa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan melakukan skrining antropometri untuk mengidentifikasi distribusi lemak tubuh sebagai indikator risiko metabolik. Pendekatan Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) digunakan pada populasi dewasa dengan pengukuran lingkar perut, panggul, lengan atas, leher, dan betis menggunakan metode standar, disertai edukasi kesehatan. Rerata usia partisipan adalah 42,78±13,44 tahun dengan distribusi jenis kelamin yang relatif seimbang. Rerata lingkar perut sebesar 88,11±16,08 cm dengan prevalensi obesitas sentral mencapai 68,2%. Rerata rasio pinggang–panggul sebesar 0,88±0,18 menunjukkan lebih dari separuh partisipan berada dalam kategori risiko dan risiko tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa skrining antropometri berbasis komunitas efektif dalam mendeteksi risiko metabolik secara dini. Intervensi promotif-preventif melalui edukasi gaya hidup sehat diperlukan untuk menekan progresivitas penyakit kardiometabolik.
