Optimalisasi Peran Kader UKS dalam Edukasi Deteksi Dini Kanker Payudara untuk Remaja Putri

Abstrak

Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian pada perempuan; namun, perilaku deteksi dini di kalangan remaja masih rendah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran kader SAT (KPU) melalui pendekatan pendidikan kelompok sebaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran deteksi dini kanker. Program ini dilaksanakan di SMP IT Ustman Bin Affan Surabaya pada Oktober 2025, melibatkan 25 kader KPU. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sesi pelatihan intensif, simulasi SADARI (Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri), dan kegiatan mentoring sebaya. Desain evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta, dengan rata-rata skor pre-test meningkat dari 52,16 menjadi 85,72 pada post-test. Peningkatan ini menegaskan bahwa pemberdayaan kader KPU efektif dalam menjembatani kesenjangan informasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi di kalangan remaja. Hasil dari program ini meliputi pembentukan kader KPU yang kompeten dan peningkatan literasi kesehatan di lingkungan sekolah.
