Abstrak

Hepatitis B merupakan infeksi virus yang berdampak signifikan terhadap morbiditas dan mortalitas global. Deteksi dini melalui pemeriksaan HBsAg berperan penting dalam upaya promotif–preventif karena dapat mengidentifikasi infeksi pada fase awal, termasuk kasus tanpa gejala. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan deteksi dini Hepatitis B pada komunitas Baduy melalui pendekatan Point of Care Testing (POCT) yang disertai edukasi mengenai pencegahan penularan, vaksinasi, dan gaya hidup sehat. Sebanyak 59 partisipan berusia 16–75 tahun (rerata 38,86 ± 14,06 tahun) berpartisipasi. Hasil menunjukkan 98,3% negatif dan 1,7% positif HBsAg, dengan kasus positif berusia lebih tinggi (54 tahun). Skrining HBsAg sederhana terbukti efektif mendeteksi individu berisiko dan mencegah komplikasi seperti sirosis serta karsinoma hepatoseluler. Integrasi POCT dan edukasi kesehatan memperkuat strategi promotif–preventif berbasis komunitas untuk menekan beban Hepatitis B di Indonesia.
