Deteksi Dini Risiko Hiperurisemia melalui Edukasi dan Pemeriksaan Asam Urat di Kota Bambu, Jakarta

Asam urat merupakan produk akhir metabolisme purin yang dapat meningkat pada kondisi hiperurisemia, suatu faktor risiko penting untuk gout, penyakit ginjal kronis, sindrom metabolik, serta komplikasi kardiovaskular. Hiperurisemia sering kali tidak bergejala pada tahap awal, sehingga pemeriksaan kadar asam urat menjadi langkah penting dalam deteksi dini gangguan metabolik di masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Kota Bambu, Jakarta Barat, pada Juni 2025 dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan melakukan skrining sederhana kadar asam urat. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) yang mencakup edukasi kesehatan, pemeriksaan kadar asam urat melalui alat digital portabel, analisis hasil, serta konseling individual sesuai temuan. Sebanyak 168 peserta berpartisipasi, terdiri dari 54 laki-laki (32,1%) dan 114 perempuan (67,9%), dengan rata-rata usia 49,1 tahun (rentang 9–96 tahun). Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan kadar asam urat rata-rata 4,25 mg/dL, dengan hampir seluruh peserta berada pada kategori normal, sementara hanya sebagian kecil yang teridentifikasi mengalami hiperurisemia. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun kondisi masyarakat secara umum masih baik, keberadaan kelompok kecil dengan hiperurisemia tetap memerlukan perhatian serius. Edukasi mengenai pola hidup sehat, pemeriksaan berkala, serta tindak lanjut medis bagi kelompok berisiko diharapkan mampu mencegah komplikasi jangka panjang.
