Abstrak

Penelitian mengenai youth entrepreneurship mengalami perkembangan yang pesat seiring meningkatnya perhatian terhadap peran generasi muda dalam menciptakan inovasi, lapangan kerja, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan. Namun, perkembangan literatur dalam bidang ini masih tersebar pada berbagai tema, perspektif, dan pendekatan penelitian sehingga diperlukan pemetaan yang sistematis untuk memahami struktur pengetahuan dan arah perkembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan penelitian mengenai youth entrepreneurship melalui pendekatan analisis bibliometrik dengan memanfaatkan data dari database Scopus dan perangkat lunak VOSviewer. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui proses pencarian literatur berdasarkan kata kunci “youth entrepreneurship” pada judul, abstrak, dan kata kunci artikel ilmiah yang terindeks Scopus. Analisis dilakukan melalui pemetaan jaringan kolaborasi penulis, afiliasi institusi, negara, analisis sitasi, serta analisis kemunculan kata kunci (co-occurrence analysis) untuk mengidentifikasi tren dan tema utama penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kajian youth entrepreneurship didominasi oleh tema yang berkaitan dengan entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial intention, education, dan youth. Penelitian terdahulu yang paling berpengaruh banyak berfokus pada faktor-faktor pembentuk niat kewirausahaan, pendidikan kewirausahaan, serta karakteristik individu dalam mendorong keterlibatan pemuda dalam aktivitas bisnis. Selain itu, hasil pemetaan menunjukkan adanya perkembangan tema baru yang mengarah pada isu pembangunan berkelanjutan, pengembangan ekonomi lokal, pengurangan pengangguran pemuda, dan kontribusi kewirausahaan terhadap perubahan sosial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian youth entrepreneurship telah berkembang dari perspektif individual menuju pendekatan yang lebih luas dengan mempertimbangkan aspek pendidikan, ekonomi, sosial, dan keberlanjutan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menyediakan gambaran komprehensif mengenai perkembangan intelektual dan peluang penelitian masa depan dalam bidang kewirausahaan pemuda.
